Tell us who you are—how would you describe yourself in a few words? I am fun, easygoing and totally a girls girl!

2. Many people know you from your inspiring journey on Married at First Sight. How did that experience shape the person you are today? Getting Married at first sight pushed me to be more vulnerable with myself and the people around me. It’s so easy to play it safe out of fear of being judged but there can be so much more waiting for you on the other side of that fear. I’m happy that I shared myself authentically because it helped me find my person and also helped the viewers who could connect with my story. I love the community that I’ve built and I was able to just be myself.
3. What inspired you to collaborate with IGL Nails for this collection? When I first met founder Brittany Golden, we connected over being new moms. It was easy to buy into her story and the IGL Nails brand. Plus, I love all of the typical girly things. With IGL Nails, not only do you get these perfectly designed nails but the innovation behind being nail bed inclusive really was intriguing for me. I’m a skinny hand girl and while most people probably think the typical sets always fit my nails but a lot of times I struggle with the sizes being too big for my nail beds. Collaborating with IGL Nails was a no brainer for me!
4. How do the nail sets reflect your personal style? I’m more classic than trendy so the ‘Amani’ set with the classic red is right up my alley. If you know Amani you know that I love a red lip and a red nail to match. The Kehlani set is also a great representation of my style with the neutral palette paired with a lil razzle dazzle lol
5. Where would you wear each nail set? Honestly, each set seems pretty universal to me. You can dress them up or down as the perfect accessory to an outfit. However, the red, I’m really looking forward to wearing this holiday season to all the parties!
6. What size nail beds do you have, and how does that influence your choice in press-on nails? My nail beds are small and normally I just go into it knowing that a couple of my nails might be too big but hopefully no one will notice. Luckily, now that I’m hip to IGL Nails, I know that no matter what I can find a style that’ll work for my nail beds. As far as shape, I love almond or anything slender to elongate my hands.
7. Red nail theory suggests that red nails are a symbol of confidence and attraction. Do you feel like your husband is more drawn to you when you have red nails? I’ve honestly never paid attention to it when I have red nails but I will now. It does make a lot of sense though lol
8. As a proud boy mom, how do you balance motherhood with your personal passions? I have to rely on my husband and our village a lot. In order for me to step away from stay at home mom duties, I need everyone else to follow our routines and love on the boys just as I would so that I don’t feel anxious when leaving them to fill my own cup. It’s important to have trust in the people around us.
9. How do press-on nails fit into your self-care routine, and what’s your favorite thing about them? I love the ease of using press on nails. I don’t have to book an appointment two weeks in advance, drive to the salon, pay for parking, or pay hundreds of dollars for the service. Being a wife and mom of 2, a lot of my mental load is going to running the household smoothly. If I have an upcoming event or trip, sometimes I’ve planned all of the things except getting my nails done. Then, I’m struggling to feel cute because my nails aren’t done. With press-ons, I can do it last minute and they’ll be just as beautiful as if I went to the salon.
10. How do you hope people feel when wearing the nails from this collection? I hope this collection adds a confidence boost to everyone wearing them. Sometimes having your nails done just makes you get an extra pep in your step. These sets are the perfect accessories and I hope it reminds everyone that they are still THAT GIRL they just needed IGL Nails 😘
