How to Remove IGL Nails

Proper removal of your press-on nails is essential to protect your natural nail bed.

There are 2 ways to remove your press-on nails.

Remove without Acetone to Save your Nails

1. Start the removal process by soaking your nails for 10 minutes in a bowl of hot water, oil (vitamin E is our fav) and soap.

2. After time use your cuticle stick to gently lift the nail at the cuticle. Do not force the nail off if it is not ready. Soak your nails longer and occasionally lift the nail at the cuticle until it is ready to come off. Add oil directly to the cuticle to assist in breaking the bond of the glue.

Use Acetone to Remove Quickly (Nails can not be reused when using acetone but will come off much faster than soap & water)

1. Start the removal process by soaking your nails for 5 minutes in a bowl of 100% acetone.

2. After time use your cuticle stick to gently lift the nail at the cuticle. Do not force the nail off if it is not ready. Soak your nails longer and occasionally lift the nail at the cuticle until it is ready to come off. The press-on nail will begin to break down. Have a towel handy to remove broken down nail and glue from nail beds.

3. Soak your natural nail beds in Vitamin E oil

4. Apply nail hardener
